- The filter that removes insurers and other governments from vendor figures matched names by substring, so 17 ordinary vendors and nonprofits whose names contain "Los Angeles County", "Kaiser" or "Anthem" (for example the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition) were left out — about $3.5M of payments across all years.
- Lo correcto
- Those payees are now included. Insurers, the County of Los Angeles and other government agencies are still excluded.

- Lo correcto
- Three agencies downgraded the City's general obligation rating: S&P to AA- (April 2025), Kroll to AA (May 2025) and Moody's to Aa3 (March 2026). Fitch rates it AAA, stable. Moody's also cited Palisades-fire litigation exposure.

- The budget leaves about $148 million in gaps flagged by the City's own auditor.
- Lo correcto
- The gaps were flagged by the City Administrative Officer (the Controller is the City's auditor), in the proposed budget. The Council closed three before adoption; about $61 million remains unfunded, including $20 million that depends on a street-lighting assessment.

- Reserves are 'sliding'; the four-year outlook shows expenditure above revenue every year after 2026-27; the budget 'doesn't survive the year'.
- Lo correcto
- Cumulative reserves rose from 8.32% (2024-25) to 8.98% in the adopted budget, below the 10% goal. The CAO's outlook balances 2026-27, projects gaps in 2027-28 and 2028-29, and small surpluses after.

- Decía
- An 'independent analysis' put 2027-28 at a ~$300M deficit and ~$1.1B over four years; '$363M — 88 cents of every new dollar' went to mandatory raises; the budget was marketed with 'no service reductions'.
- Lo correcto
- No source could be found for any of these, so they were removed. The page now uses the CAO's balancing table and outlook.

- Lower FY2026 spending reflected 'reallocation toward the mayor's Inside Safe initiative'.
- Lo correcto
- Inside Safe spending also fell, from $136.5M to $121.6M, so the data shows no such reallocation. The claim was removed.

- Lo correcto
- LAHSA's adopted FY2026-27 budget is $496.6M. The Alvarez & Marsal review found that $2.3B in City homelessness funding could not be fully accounted for because of fragmented data; it did not find $2.3B 'at risk'.
